Debates or Discussions (my policy)

For any debate/discussions there MUST be at least two goals

  • After the discussion all should be in same page
  • Actual goal stated by the host

A discussion can be considered as success if we achieve both the goals and they are same!

Its like a jigsaw puzzle, we all come with one or more pieces of a big picture; during the discussion
we exchange them; we analyze them; and finally we try to place them in order.
At the end we get the correct big picture. So ultimately the final picture will not look like the piece one had; but indeed the picture will be complete only with the one piece we had.

AND

Of course there are chances that we don't get the original big picture in shape mostly because of the quality of debate; in that case we are unfortunate and it was a waste of time. we might have moved horizontally than vertically that we expected; THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT the one piece I had (or you had) is the big picture.

If the case is different, What is the difference between a discussion and a broadcast message then?

If you disagree on this, you can ask queries, you can prove me wrong; I will be happy if my point is proven wrong; because I will have something to learn from that!

It may kill my "Aham" bhava. but its ok  I can take it in that spirit
